Metadur 6 U |
AWS: E Co Cr – A DIN 8555: EN 14700: E Co 2 Recovery: 100% Current: = (+) / ~ |
C: 1,0 – 1,3 Cr: 26,0 – 30,0 Co: 62,0 – 68,0 W: 4,0 – 6,0 |
Tough and high tensile stellite alloy for overlays in case of wear as well as temperature shocks, impact loads or corrison. Main application where high wear and corrison resistance at high temperature stress is required like for valves seats, steam fittings etc. The weld deposit is heat-resistant up to 900 ºC. |
H: 43 – 45 HRc At 600 ºC |
Metadur 12 U |
AWS:E Co Cr – B DIN 8555: EN 14700: E Co 3 Recovery: 100% Current: = (+) / ~ |
C: 1,2 – 1,4 Cr: 26,0 – 30,0 Co: 57,0 – 61,0 W: 9,0 – 11,0 |
Rutile basic coated electrode with a weld deposit according to the alloy stellite 12, suitable for seal welding seats on fittings of all kind, at high temperature and pressure as well as good corrison resistance. The weld deposit is resistant to temperature up to 900 ºC, has excellent gliding properties and high resistant to cavitation. |
H: 46 – 48 HRc At 600 ºC |
Metadur 21 U |
DIN 8555: EN 14700: E Z Co 1 Recovery: 100% Current: = (+) / ~ |
C: 0,2 – 0,4 Cr: 30,0 – 33,0 Mo: 4,5 – 5,5 Ni: 3,0 – 4,0 Co: 57,0 – 61,0 |
Rutile-basic coated electrode with weld deposit according to the alloy stellite 21, suitable for overlays subject to high temperature stress and corrison with very good gliding properties, like seal welding under high pressures and temperatures, also resistance to temperature changes. Strainhardened, but heat treatment has little influence on hardness. |
H: 29 – 33HRc At 600 ºC |
Metadur 6 Ni |
DIN 8555: EN 14700: E Ni 4 Recovery: 120% Current: = (+) |
C:0,02 – 0,04 Si: 2,5 – 3,2 Cr: 8,0 – 10,0 Ni: 85,0 – 88,0 Specials: |
For hardfacing with satisfactory sliding properties (metal-metal) and resistance to corrison. according to the application of Metadur 6 U. Not for use in presence of hydrochloric acid . The weld deposit has self tempering properties so after thermal cycling the hardness is as good as before. | H: 40 – 45HRc |
