Basic-coated electrode for joining and overlaying. For all positions except vertical down. Suitable for materials of same kind as well as different kind at working temperatures from – 196 ºC up to 650 ºC.

The weld deposit is fully austenitic and does not embrittle.It is chemically resistant and also resistant to thermoshock, heat scale resistant up to 1300 ºC in low sulphurous atmosphere.
No carbon diffusion at higher temperatures.

Suitable for following base materials:
1.4876, (Incolloy 800M), 2.4870, 2.4867, 2.4816, 1.5662, 1.4429, 1.4539, 1.4922, 1.4988, H II, St E 255, St E 355 , T St E 460, further for joining of the mentioned materials with each other.

T: 620 – 650 N/mm²

Y: 390 – 430 N/mm²

E(1=5d): 35 – 45 %

I: 70 – 90 Joule

Coated Electrode for overlays on hot working tools like hot shear blades and hot cutting dies. This special alloy is particularly recommended for the use in chemical industry due to its high resistance in aggresive media.

Also suitable for large sized overlays on steel and nickel alloys subject to impact, presure, and abrasion at high temperatures. Larger workplaces should be pre heated up to ~ 300 ºC.

Base materials: Ni-Cr-Mo alloys and their combinations with low alloyed and high alloyed steels. austenitic steel with highest resistance to corrision for working temperatures of more than 300 ºC.
