Very thick coated electrode for high wear resistant overlays. Slag does not cover the weld deposit. Applications are constructional and machine parts, that are subject to heavy abrasion and moderate impacts .e.g. mixer parts and sand blasting equipment, descaling units etc. |
H: 58 – 62 HRc |
Metadur 60 V | DIN 8555: E 10 – UM – 60 – Z |
– |
A hardfacing electrode, developed on a chrome-carbide basis for abrasive wear and medium impact stressing, e.g by ores, coal gravels sand, for overlaying on excavator teeth, wear strips, screw conyeyors etc. Also useable for guideways, valve ends and machine parts to operating temperature up to 200 ºC. The clear weld pool permits better bead build up, so that post weld machining is not necessary, Easy slag removal. |
