Basic coated electrode for overlays on maganese hard steel like dredger teeth, crusher jaws etc. that is parts mainly subject to impact load. Hardness of the welding deposits 200 – 250 HB, which increases to 450 – 550 HB by strian hardening, leading to much better wear-resistance. If possible, welding should be without great head input. It is recommended to interrupt the welding process from time to time in order to cool the overlayed welding deposit with water. |
