The rutile basic coated electrode is especially used for manufacturing and reconditioning of tools and in general for high wear resistance on machine and tools. The weld metal withstands stressing by abrasion, impact, compession and temperatures up to 550 ºC.

It is suitable for production of all kinds of cutting tools like lathe and plane tools, drills, counter sinks milling cutters and for hot work tools like punches and hot share blades.
