Metadur 1050 is an extra hard surfacing electrode for wear resistant overlays which are subject to extremely severe abrasion by sand gravel, ore, coal, cement or slag.

Metadur 1050 maintains its abrasion resistance at elevated temperatures of 600ºC (1100ºF). Therefore it is suitable for hardfacing in crushing plants, scraping leaks for the zinc industry, blast furnace hinging equipment and palm nut press screws.

Metadur 1090 is a special category of hardfacing electrodes which contains most extreme wear resistant Matrix and weld metal is particularly resistant to wet or dry abrasive & erosive media.

Weld deposit can be finished only by grinding and are best limited to two layers because of stress relief cracking.

Carbides

Its high chromium carbide structure along with addition of special alloys makes complex carbides. Metadur 1095 provides excellent results against all kind of wear forces.

It is recommended for very tough, extremely hard surfacing of components, subject to severe wear condition due to multidimensional wear forces.
