Electrode for welding aluminum forging alloys and aluminum cast alloys. The weld deposit consists of an Al-alloy with 5% Si and is sufficient for almost all cast alloys.

In case of alloys with higher Si-content, the Si-content in the weld deposit increases as well.

Suitable for following base materials:
G-AlSi 7, AlSi 5 Mg

T: 120 – 150 N/mm²

Y: 55 – 78 N/mm²

E(1=5d): 12 – 18

AlSi 12 DIN 1732: EL – AlSi 12 For joining and surfacing of Al forging and casting alloys of the Al-Si, Al-Mg-Si, Al-Si-Mg-Cu types. Excellent welding properties, porosity-free joints and therefore perfect joining on plates from 2mm thickness.

T: 200 – 240 N/mm²

Y: 80 – 100 N/mm²

E(1=5d): 3 – 6 %

The electrode is used for joining and repairing of pure aliminium. According to the purity of the welding deposit of 99,8% Al, the corrison resistance is very good. The electrode has good welding properties with good slag removal.

T: 80 – 90 N/mm²

Y: 50 – 60 N/mm²

E(1=5d): 25 – 30 %

The electrode is used for joining and repairing of pure aliminium and aluminium alloys. The welding deposit is sea-water resistant and can be used for aluminate process with following materials:
Al99,5, Al99, Al98, AlMn, AlMgMn, AlMg1, AlMg2

The electrode has good welding properties.

T: 90 – 110 N/mm²

Y: 40 – 60 N/mm²

E(1=5d): 20 – 30 %
